**I LOST 8.6 POUNDS IN 3 DAYS**

It's the end of my 3 Day Cleanse with Shakeology and I lost a whopping 8.6 pounds. Wow! I am super excited and proud of myself. I got on that scale this morning not knowing what number to expect. Shakeology is the ish!!!!

Okay so, I should have posted about this when I first started but I am terrible at blogging daily. So anyway 2 days ago, I decided to try something different. Shakeology. A "wife" that is in a Facebook group that I am in is a consultant. She had told me about it months ago and even though I was interested, i didn't have the funds to do it at the time.

Well I finally decided, I couldn't afford to not do it anymore so I told her to send it to me and I began it the very next day after I received it in the mail.

Day 1: I was scared, worried and determined all at the same time. I asked people to pray for me because I am a b*tch when I start a diet, cleanse or whatever. I am evil as all get out. EVIL!!
I am addicted to Sugar so when I stop having it, I get withdrawals and become moody and I have headaches as well. I had my shake for breakfast and strawberries for a snack. For Lunch I had a Doctor's Appt so I didn't get a chance to have my shake but for Dinner I had Fish, a Salad, Low Fat Italian Dressing, A Shake and  a cup of Green Tea.


Day 2: I was excited that I had made it through Day One without messing up at all. I didn't screw up one time. Well I forgot to have a cup of Green Tea and actually missed my lunch shake but I had it later on. But I didn't eat anything bad or do anything I wasn't supposed to do. I was super proud of myself. I had strawberries again for a snack and the same thing for Dinner that I had the night prior. What I miss most of all is chewing. LOL Because I have mostly the shakes and only Dinner and 2 small snacks, I felt like I didn't chew much. But at least I made it. That's all that mattered to me. 

Day 3: I am currently in Day 3, The Final Day. The Last Stretch and I am fully energized. I can't believe that I am still standing. Having gone the past 2 days without eating anything but Dinner pretty much, I would think I would be exhausted and looking for the nearest doughnut. But I'm not. I have loads of energy and I feel ummm....different. I can tell my body has lost something, be it weight, water, fat, toxins, I don't know but something is gone and I feel much better. I had my morning shake on my way in to work this morning, a cup of green tea when I got to work and I'm having half of a grapefruit now as my morning snack. This damn grapefruit is a bit tart but I'm happy to be chewing. LOL I will have a shake for Lunch and the same thing for Dinner that I had the past two nights and tomorrow morning, I will weigh myself to see how much (if any) I lost.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Shakeology 3 Day Cleanse. It is simply amazing. The shakes really have in them what you need to sustain you through it and they give you energy to boot. It's just what I needed to kick start me changing my lifestyle. I will not call it a diet because I am not dieting. I am changing my life. My Lifestyle. I am 40 years old now and it's time to stop acting like a 22 year old (foodwise) and eat better.

Diana Ross Afro Brillo Pads Cause Racial Controversy

New company is being accused of racism after releasing some afro style sponges that are getting the attention of the public.  The British company Paladone is under fire for the release of the products, featuring caricatures of Diana Ross, using her hair for a brillo pad.   Critics have accused  the company of making products that are similar to those considered derogatory toward blacks during slavery and Jim Crow.

The Unite Against Fascism general secretary Weyman Bennett said: “What are we going to have next, toilet brushes like that?”

“This is not appropriate for the 21st century to show images like that. It reinforces negative stereotypes and ideas.”

Bennett then went on to say, “It opens the door for people to produce racial stereotypes and that’s not something we want to see in our society. We’ve worked very hard to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

The company claims that the product is nothing more than good, clean fun.   A company spokesperson said, “Our range of four washing up sponges are designed to make an everyday chore like washing up more fun.”

Tank is officially my 2nd favorite R&B singer next to Mr. Chocolate Goodness himself  Tyrese. His music is so damn sexy. **fanning myself** He's not my type but his music takes me there. Enjoy these two tracks. One called Compliments featuring Kris Stephens. Beat is sick.

Lonely is a nice smooth song with him and Chris Breezy himself. Tank and Chris Brown. Yeah that's too much for any lady to bear. LOL All I need to see is Chris dancing around on the Video and I'm good. It's about a man who has another woman but he misses her and says he's still lonely even though he got somebody else cause no one else can ever take her place. :-)

President Obama at the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner

He is too funny. I love that he keeps Politics from being so boring. I stay interested in him, his policies, his family and the whole political process. He roasted everybody in his speech. I love it!!! I don't remember ever seeing so many celebrities in the audience with any other President. I can't wait for his next term and yes I am already claiming that he will win and be our President for another 4 years.

I bet Young Jeezy never thought he'd hear the President of the United States saying his name. LOL

Nicki Minaj DISHES To Graham Norton About The VOICE In Her Head & Explains Her NICTIONARY

 

Nicki Minaj stopped by "The Graham Norton Show" during her time in London and she talked about why she deleted her Twitter account and her Nictionary.

While promoting her lastest effort, Roman Reloaded, Nicki Minaj appeared on Brit chatfest "The Graham Norton Show."  As we posted earlier, she told the host, "A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter so I did."  She also talked about her hit "Beez In The Trap" saying, 

"It just means that, you know, its the [way of] saying "I am always" you know that's our slang way of saying "I 'be'ez doing such and such and such". So its really, its like, "I am always in the trap". Now the "trap" ladies and gentlemen relates to anywhere you get your money. So you in the trap right now playboy [referring to Graham Norton]."

She also played a game with Graham using the Nicki Minaj iPhone App "Nictionary."  She explained that her term "Strawberry Shortcake" is a noun meaning "A broke bitch."

Definition - One who loses sight on her goals and her cake by focusing on beef and negativity.

Another word she uses: The verb TumbleDry.  She said she uses it when speaking to washed up bitches.

Brandy & Monica on Good Morning America!!

‘It All Belongs To Me’ is one of my favorite songs on Monica's CD called "New LIfe" and Brandy and Monica sound fantastic while singing it. The duo visited ‘Good Morning America’ this morning to perform the tune and thrilled the audience with a slightly rearranged version of the tune.

Monica lowered the key for this performance of ‘It All Belongs To Me’ and remained in her alto range. I love me some Brandy, Monica too but definitely Brandy. I must also say that Brandy is downright fly this time around too. I am so in awe of this girl and her voice. Stan much?? Yeah I stan for B-Rocka!!!

The creative folks at Divine Delicacies Custom Cakes told us they whipped up a strawberry shortcake flavored creation for the blonde Barb.  And did it on a one-night's notice after Wayne put in a request the night before.

It's 4 tiers of fondant, edible color paints (including Nicki's fave color pink), pink pearl Fondant bows and pink & blue Swarovski crystal bands around the cake and brooches on the bows.
