A Review: Pure Gioia

Some of you already know I am on a quest to find a replacement for what used to be the Best Bath & Body Company out there and in my quest, I will do a review for each place just to let you know my thoughts and if I ever do find a actual replacement for them.

This company is called Pure Gioia, it means Pure Joy. She created this company because a company where she used to purchase her Bath & Body products from went out of business so she started her own. The scents, each and every one of them that i purchased, I love. She has a 10 piece sampler that I ordered where you can get various different scents and a Lip Balm. The Lip Balm feels good on my lips and it smells good to and since my lips are below my nose I continue to get a "whiff" of the scent every now and then.

I ordered the following scents:

Sea Spray - it smells to fresh and so clean. Love.
Tropical Banana and Pineapple - a nice spring and summer scent.
Mango Peach Fusion - I fell in love with this scent. My Lip Balm was in this scent as well.
Pink Can of Pop - Smells just like the name.
Summer Sun & Sand - very nice summer scent as well. Light.
Pink Powdered Baby - This one smelled okay, not one of my faves though.
Lilac & Lilies - Surprisingly I really liked this one, Love.
Sunny Island Nectar - Also a nice spring/summer scent.
Strawberry Cake Batter - I'm a huge fan of all things strawberry scented so this was a winner.

My Top 3 are Sea Spray, Mango Peach Fusion and Lilac and Lilies.

These were all Whipped Body Butters so I'm not sure about how long the scent lasts but the scents are spot on, each and every one. She has Moisturizing Body Mist Sprays but I haven't tried them yet. The whipped body butter is very silky and moisturizing. Not greasy at all and of course smells good.

The delivery was super fast, Packaging was done nicely. I will definitely order from here again.

The Love of her Life has passed away and today she puts him to rest. I ask that you please pray for her and her family today. Cover her Lord. She needs you. Only you can get her through this. I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow she feels. God Bless her and Keep her. Give her the strength and courage to keep on. She needs you lord. Please Cover Her.



I Love You Friend and although I can't be there with you today, know that you are in my heart and on my mind. I'm praying as hard as I can for your strength. Like you said in your post, He will supply and I know that Jesus will supply everything you need to get through this. You and Marcus will never be alone because God will always be there with you. A Product Review: Sweet Therapy

I love love love Bath & Body Products and have made it a mission to try out as many companies as I can. Recently I tried out a company called Sweet Therapy that is located on Etsy.

I ordered two things: The Mango Peach Body Scrub and the Mango Peach Whipped Body Frosting.

This is how my package came out the box and it smelled delicious. The third product was a free gift from the company. It was well packaged and delivered quickly. 

I used it a couple days later after receiving it and I am impressed. The Body Scrub really exfoliated and softened my skin. I really felt a difference afterwards. I will definitely be purchasing more products from this company in the future. The owner's name is Tanaya and I know her from being in a group with her on Facebook. Scenario: What Would You Do??

You are married for 10 years and you two have a son, Your husband cheats on you and that infidelity ends up tearing your marriage apart. You get divorced and yall move to separate states. Your son wants to go live with his dad. You reluctantly let him. He ends up marrying the trick ass hoe that he cheated on you with. They have been married for 3 years. Living good while you struggling to make ends meet. To get back at the trick azz hoe, you sleep with who is now her husband off and on. You try to move on but he keeps trying to hit it and you let him because when you do he doesn't ask you for money which you can't afford to pay in the first place so you give him azz and even though you are paying a cost, it's free. No money out of your pockets. 

Fast forward to now....your son is a teenager. He is now graduating from High School and is also having a Graduation Party at his Father's Home. Which is a huge home, really nice cause he is now making 6 figures and living well so you have to now travel back to the state that you once lived in with this Pimp and face not only him but this trick azz hoe that he cheated on you with. You have to sit down and have dinner with this biotch in her home that she shares with your ex-husband that she screwed while you were with him.

Secretly you want to tell her that you've been giving her husband the business for the past couple of years just to get back at her but you remain composed and play nice for your sons sake. Your ex-husband acts as if he can't say a word to you the whole time you are there cause of this hoe that he turned into his housewife. 

Could you do it? Would you be able to endure all of this for the sake of your son? Play nice and smile for the cameras even though you wanna drop kick this skank in the throat and while repeatedly beating her, you wanna tell her all the times her husband has been arranging his business trips so that yall can get down with the get down. And you wanna recite that line from The Color Purple and say that "what you did to me, I already done to you" and walk away with a smile on your face. 

I mean could you??? What would you do??

Naturally Me has a line of natural, vegan certified body care products. Naturally Me was built on the foundation of ” quality beauty on a budget.” Our slogan is luxury body care for the everyday woman.

What inspired you to start your business?

I started Naturally Me because my daughter had acne and I couldn’t afford the mail order subscription remedy and the over the counter remedies weren’t working. My friends suggested that I turn this into a business. I figured that there were others out there like me that wanted a quality product but couldn’t pay high prices. That’s why the majority of our products are based under $20.

You recently won the Microsoft Office 365 Contest. Congratulations! What impact has that had on your business?

Winning the Microsoft Office 365 Contest has allowed Naturally Me to be at a place in business that would have taken us years to get to. I was able to get trademarks, attend major trade shows that are mostly attended by the larger companies, purchase supplies in bulk and pay someone to help me with PR and getting the word out about Naturally Me.

What advice would you give to an aspiring product maker?

Do lots of research and know who your target market is. Just because everyone uses soap doesn’t mean that everyone is in my target market.

What are your best selling items?

It’s hard to decide, but if I have to narrow it down it would be our Soap Bars, All Over Butter and Soy Candles

Final words?

Don’t give up on your dreams. It doesn’t always take thousands of dollars to start your company. I started my company for less than $100. Also surround yourself with people who are either where you aspire to be or who are on that path.

In case you missed the Billboard Music Awards like I did here are the performances of Chris Brown, Usher and Nelly Furtado. I knew it was coming on but I just didn't want to watch it and all i wanted to see was the performances and I figured i could watch those online so here they are:

**I LOST 8.6 POUNDS IN 3 DAYS**
