We are the World Video for Haiti

Good Morning,

I saw the We are the World (remake) for Haiti Video. Am I the only one who didn't like it? I think they did a terrible job of arranging the song and the Video was very poorly done as well. I am really missing Michael Jackson cause when he did it, he did it wonderfully. I knew when I heard it was gonna be redone that it wasn't gonna live up to the previous one but I didn't think it was gonna be this bad. Quincy Jones, you are obviously getting old and Lionel Richie stay behind the piano and sing. Thank you.




Somebody please tell me why did the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls have so many damn solo parts in this song? Why? Why?

and Wyclef Jean....sounded like he was going up and down a hill really fast. What the hell?

The rappers had too big of a part in this song. Just too big. I mean you had Icons like Gladys Knight ONLY singing in the chorus. Are you freaking kidding me? Gladys Knight had no solo AT ALL? But Miley Cyrus did and lil who is that lil boy who sounds like a Justin Timberlake wanna be? He started the song off...Really?And what's up with Jamie Foxx doing a Ray Charles voice in the song? Yall coulda left that out.

And Tony Bennett? Tony Bennett? UGH!

I am truly missing Michael Jackson. And they had that itty bitty cameo of Janet whispering. Did anybody hear her?  I know I couldn't. I think Tito woulda did a better job or at least Jermaine for god sake.

Okay so anyway, for the good parts. Jennifer Hudson sounded amazing of course, Josh Groban's voice was lovely. Love him! Of course Mary J Blige brought her A game as usual. Pink sounded really good and BeBe Winans. Michael Jacksons parts were my favorite. Celine's voice is beautiful and Usher sounded good too.

Oh one more bad thing: AUTO TUNE WAS OUT OF CONTROL UP IN THIS SONG! Akon, Lil Wayne and T-Pain. I think if you can't sing, then you shouldn't have had a singing part. And what was that weak lil rap Will.I.Am did at the end? My 11 year old coulda did a better job. Anyway, when you have a classic like this, it's best to just leave it be. If Michael was still living, he would have written a new song.....a beautiful song and done it extremely well. Boy, do I miss Michael Jackson.

And I'm giving Wycelf the *side eye* for the ending...does he say IUT? or Is he saying Haiti?
